Overview:
Are you an experienced Finance Manager seeking an opportunity to join one of the most renowned football clubs in the world? Manchester United are now looking for a Finance Manager to join on a permanent basis. The main purpose of this role is to effectively manage the Sales Ledger, Credit Control and Purchase Ledger teams.

Key Responsibilities:
• Managing month-end reports, reconciliations, and payment approvals.
• Overseeing vendor bank details, invoices, and debt collections.
• Handling system amendments, user training, and audits.
• Serving as the primary contact for finance queries and projects.
• Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
• Developing and implementing strategies to improve financial processes.
• Collaborating with other departments to streamline financial operations.
• Participating in financial planning and budgeting processes.
• Providing guidance and support to junior staff members.

Requirements:
• Proven experience in managing finance teams.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience with adaptive systems such as Microsoft Dynamics.
• Strong multitasking abilities and attention to detail.
• Previous experience in fast-paced environments.
• Knowledge of system implementations and effective time management.
• Understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
