Junior HR Business Partner - 6 months FTC - Manchester City Centre

We are currently supporting a global professional services organisation who are looking for a Junior HR Business Partner to join their team to cover for a team member working on an internal project.

This is a 6 month fixed term contract, but there is potential for the role to be extended or go permanent depending on the scope of the business at that stage.

You will be based from the Manchester City Centre office and will work from there on a hybrid basis (one or two days a week in the office). 

Our client is offering a salary between £40,000 - £50,000 DOE.

The Role:

  • Day to day advisory support and leading on ER cases including disciplinaries, grievances and absence management.
  • Be a strategic partner to the SLT, collaborating with the Senior HRBP to implement best practice solutions.
  • Execute and support day-to-day management of change plans.
  • Support with the delivery of projects within the HR team.
  • Support development and continuous improvement of policies and best practice.

Requirements:

  • Strong generalist HR experience working as a Senior HR Advisor and/or a Junior HR Business Partner in a busy HR function
  • CIPD qualified
  • Good knowledge of employee relations and handling a caseload
  • Ability to develop strong relationships with line managers at all levels
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to manage conflicting priorities
  • Sound judgment, decision-making & business acumen in employee relation matters
  • Can commit to a 6 month fixed term contract
