Shift Maintenance Engineer - Contract Location: Elton, Ellesmere Port Salary: £40,000 per annum, (Circa 20.44ph, 3 month Contract Shift pattern: (7 till 7, mix of nights and days) (4on, 4off. 2 days, 2 nights.) Job Description: * Assisting with PPMs and Fault finding on Electrical and Mechanical plant * Continuous improvement of on-site equipment and process * Working shifts in a 24/7, busy environment * Dealing with conflicting priorities to ensure maximum uptime * Health and safety conscious * Monitoring instruments such as: Scanners, Sensors, Robotics, packaging, conveyors, labellers, fillers. Stores ControllerBolton, Greater Manchester
Role overview: The role will involve issue, receipt and management of stores and inventory in a stores environment. Loading, control and monitoring of work packages in a manufacturing environment. Specific responsibilities include: Stock control / storekeeping including shelf life control Load the manufacturing cells with the requisite jobs in accordance with planned lead and cycle times, in order to comply with manufacturing programmes and delivery schedules Packing including the use of hand tools Receiving and issuing of tooling Updating computer records Kitting activity Loading and unloading of lorries Candidate skills: Essential Experience in a stores environment, ideally in an engineering environment or at the least manufacturing / heavy production PC skills, including EXCEL Willing to work flexible shift patterns Attention to detail Work on own with minimal supervision Desirable skills Fork lift truck licence Experience with an Enterprise Planning System e.g. SAP Manual handling training Lifting & Slinging training (Including overhead cranes) ESD training.
