Our client a leading Oil & Gas operator are seeking a Hydrocarbon Accountant for a minimum 6 month contract role based in Aberdeen. Position Overview Performs timely and accurate data validation and allocation runs Accountabilities * Delivery of timely and accurate production of daily allocations * Documentation of allocation procedures ensuring compliance * Liaise with REs, Sites, Pipeline Operators and Partners Key Duties * Perform data validation on system inputs/outputs including Well Allocation, Field Allocation and Terminal Allocation * Timely preparation of production reports capturing correctly the results of the allocation procedures * Liaise with relevant departments to ensure appropriate well tests are being used and advise when new well tests are required * Verify volumes content of transportation and processing tariff invoices in accordance with the relevant commercial agreement * Monitor, allocate and prepare appropriate internal/external reports for products associated with hydrocarbon production * Interface with laboratory and incorporate analysis results into the allocation and tariff process * User acceptance testing of changes made to allocation systems * Engage with operations, subsurface and offshore communities as required Education Attainment & Accreditation * Degree qualified or equivalent in a relevant discipline and/or considerable technical experience in a similar role Professional Skills & Experience * Experience of multi field pipeline operations and user agreements, some commercial awareness * Competency and an understanding of offshore oil & gas production, transportation and onshore processing systems * Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office and database systems, as well as the desire and capacity learn other technical software * Embraces change and continual improvement Interpersonal Skills & Qualities * Highly analytical * Numerate with good problem solving skills * Demonstrates flexibility/open-minded approach with ability to work in a high pressure environment and meet tight deadlines * Excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills with ability to work on own initiative * Team player * A self-starter, able to take one's own initiative * Embrace change and continuous improvement Circumstances * Frequent visits to production facilities
Our client a leading Oil & Gas operator are seeking a Process Engineer for a minimum 6 month contract role base din Aberdeen. Position Overview A member of the Production Department, the Senior Process Engineer is responsible for delivering centralised process engineering support to the assets and other functions. Covering process design, analysis and development, the role holder will be required to improve process systems in order to maintain and improve operational efficiency, cost, sustainability and profitability. Responsibilities * * Provide long to medium term process engineering support to the assets and other functional areas, in accordance with the planning time horizons and in compliance with Company standards, processes and procedures. * * Discuss with appropriate Technical Authority any issues that impact SECE's * * Develop, configure and optimize processing systems. * * Develop best practices, routines and innovative solutions to improve production delivery and quality as well as safety and environmental compliance and sustainability. * * Regularly review and update relevant engineering, technical and operations documentation. Key Duties * * Provide long to medium term process engineering support in accordance with the planning time horizons, ensuring that process engineering input is provided for the Asset teams offshore and onshore. * * Gathering and analyzing data required to make improvements and modifications. * * Identify potential areas for optimisation of the asset process systems. * * Collaborate closely with the IOC Process Engineer, asset and Process Engineering Team personnel to ensure the clear identification, thorough understanding and robust mitigation of operational risks relating to safety, environment or production. * * Investigating and troubleshooting plan/process problems, with all relevant threats and opportunities thoroughly detailed and registered in the required systems. * * Comply with Company policies, standards, processes and procedures. * * Participate in or perform risk assessments, root cause analysis, HAZOPs, Process Safety Assessments, as required and in accordance with Company standards, processes and procedures. * * Provide technical or process documentation and operating instructions. * * Create, benchmark, manage and perform process simulations. * * Demonstrate high standard of safe and environmentally responsible behaviours consistent with Company policies and values. * * Conduct or support periodic site Process Safety reviews/audits, as required and in collaboration with the Process Engineering Technical Authority. * * Ensure effective and timely close out of Synergi, ICP or PLMS actions. * * Conduct periodic "cold eye" observations (e.g. during otherwise planned site visits) and produce timely reports * * Participate in regular performance management dialogues with Process Engineering Technical Advisor * * Review and respond to Technical Queries as required, robustly and in a timely manner. * * Review and approve shutdown leak test workpacks prepared by 3rd parties * * Review of Technical Queries in compliance with HSE26 (i.e. leak testing procedure) * * Collaborate with IOC Process Engineer, asset and Process Engineering Team personnel to develop proposals to overcome deficiencies in existing process plan design and operation. * * Contribute to the issue for approval of Statement of Requirements (SOR) for engineering works. * * Responsible as for the review and approval of vendors, 3rd party contractors Resources UK's main Engineering contractor's process technical documents in a timely manner * * Prepare the review, and preparation of new or revision to Site Operating Procedures. * * Ensure P&IDs, C&Es, POPMS, Site Instructions, alarm and trip schedules are up to date, reflect current operations and comply with relevant Company standards and procedures. * * When required conduct prestart up audits prior to completion of major project/modifications * * Promote technological innovations that can be economically exploited to improve safety or production performance for Repsol Sinopec Resources UK's facilities Education Attainment & Accreditation * * Degree qualified or equivalent in a Chemical / Process engineering discipline, preferably chartered * * Minimum 10-year process engineering experience gained in the oil & gas industry, preferably offshore. Professional Skills & Experience * * Extensive, design engineering and operations experience within the oil and gas industry.
We are currently looking for an Experienced Lead Driller The position will involve working throughout the UK across a variety of sites and sectors including manufacturing, petrochemical and construction environments. The work will focus on the use of rotary drilling equipment but previous experience with dynamic/windowless sampling would be beneficial. The successful candidate would be expected to work independently, demonstrating leadership and taking a key role in the development of assistant drillers/second-men, and health and safety stewardship. The position will involve working throughout the UK across a variety of sites and sectors including manufacturing, petrochemical and construction environments. The position requires the individual to have: * As a minimum 2 years' experience acting in the role of Lead Driller and preferably holding an NVQ Level 2 in Land Drilling. * Experience in Logging to BS5930 and knowledge of Eurocode 7 would be beneficial. * A full, clean driving licence (Category B) is essential with supplementary entitlement for C1+E and/or C preferable. * Valid CSCS Card. It would also be beneficial if the applicant holds an SPA/PIA training card or Personal Track Safety (PTS) accreditations. However, the required training will be provided in any event. The position will involve working away throughout the week with accommodation provided directly by the company and a subsistence allowance provided. Please note that although the majority of work will be away, daily commuting to Newmarket may be required at times; therefore, the successful candidate will reside within a reasonable commute from the depot. * It would also be beneficial if the applicant holds an SPA/PIA training card or Personal Track Safety (PTS) accreditations. However, the required training will be provided in any event. * Ability to stay away from home Monday-Friday. Accommodation, Travel and Food allowance will be provided.
