Business Analyst (HR)
Location - Preston x2 days per week onsite
Competitive outside day rate
Duration - initial 6 months with a likely extension
We’re supporting the search for a Business Analyst with a strong background in HR systems and processes, to join a dynamic team driving tech-enabled change. This role will suit someone who understands how to translate business challenges into opportunities through smart technology and process improvement.
Key responsibilities:
- Work closely with senior HR stakeholders to identify where technology can add value
- Gather, document, and validate requirements that support strategic HR initiatives
- Lead and contribute to process mapping activities using BPMN or similar standards
- Support data cleansing efforts and identify opportunities for automation and AI-driven efficiencies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth delivery of solutions
Key experience:
- Proven ability to engage with senior stakeholders across HR and IT
- Solid understanding of HR systems, processes, and reporting
- Familiarity with Oracle systems is highly desirable
- Awareness of how RPA and AI can improve data quality and streamline operations
- Strong documentation and process mapping skills (BPMN or similar)
