Hydrocarbon Accountant

Our client a leading Oil and Gas operator based in Aberdeen are currently recruiting for a Hydrocarbon Accountant to join their team on a long-term contract basis. Ideally for this role they are looking for an experienced Hydrocarbon Accountant with an Oil and Gas background. For more information see below: Position Overview Performs timely and accurate data validation and allocation runs Accountabilities • Delivery of timely and accurate production of daily allocations • Documentation of allocation procedures ensuring compliance • Liaise with REs, Sites, Pipeline Operators and Partners • Maintain a firm understanding of the threat Cyber Attacks pose in both regular IT (Information Technology) and OT (Operational Technology / industrial automation) environments and the potential consequences of such attacks Key Duties • Perform data validation on system inputs/outputs including Well Allocation, Field Allocation and Terminal Allocation • Timely preparation of production reports capturing correctly the results of the allocation procedures • Liaise with relevant departments to ensure appropriate well tests are being used and advise when new well tests are required • Verify volumes content of transportation and processing tariff invoices in accordance with the relevant commercial agreement • Monitor, allocate and prepare appropriate internal/external reports for products associated with hydrocarbon production • Interface with laboratory and incorporate analysis results into the allocation and tariff process • User acceptance testing of changes made to allocation systems • Engage with operations, subsurface and offshore communities as required Education Attainment & Accreditation • Degree qualified or equivalent in a relevant discipline and/or considerable technical experience in a similar role Professional Skills & Experience • Experience of multi field pipeline operations and user agreements, some commercial awareness • Competency and an understanding of offshore oil & gas production, transportation and onshore processing systems • Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office and database systems, as well as the desire and capacity learn other technical software • Embraces change and continual improvement Interpersonal Skills & Qualities • Adherence to Repsol Sinopec Resources UK values • Highly analytical • Numerate with good problem solving skills • Demonstrates flexibility/open-minded approach with ability to work in a high pressure environment and meet tight deadlines • Excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills with ability to work on own initiative • Team player • A self-starter, able to take one’s own initiative • Embrace change and continuous improvement Circumstances • Frequent visits to production facilities

Metering Team Lead

Our client a leading Oil and Gas Operator based in Aberdeen are currently recruiting for a metering Team Lead on a long-term contract role to join their team. Ideally for this role they are looking for an experienced Metering Team Lead with an Oil and Gas background. For more information see below: Position Overview Lead the department Metering and Environmental Measurement Engineers. Provides metering technical expertise and operational support to the business, including onshore and offshore metering, within the production function. Accountabilities • Lead Metering and Environmental Measurement Engineers • Fiscal, allocation and environmental metering systems are installed, maintained and operated safely and efficiently to the standards required to satisfy all stakeholders in relation to commercial and regulatory compliance • Timely and accurate support to metering and measurement operational requirements, as outlined in the business processes and procedures • Daily data validation of all associated metering systems data handoffs to the associated allocation and reporting systems • Scheduling and management of all primary metering elements certification to the required standards and stipulations Key Duties • Focal point for all Metering Engineers including Environmental Measurement Engineer • Assisting in the management of the metering team: o Ensure team absences within the team are covered to enable the function to provide continued levels of support required by the business. (Absence policy) • Assist in competency management and development to the Measurement & Allocation Manager • Maintenance management: o Backlog o Recommend improvements to current and future maintenance strategies o Focal point and management of all CMMS changes o Frequent Review of maintenance builds o Assist in the review of maintenance capacity • Organisation of metering maintenance management – FM2P system and propose improvement plans as required • Ensure new starters are given all applicable applications, accesses and accounts necessary to fulfil their roles and responsibilities • Administration and management of procurement tracking and control • Manage and maintain audit tracker registers • Accompany and assist regulators and third parties on all measurement related audits for all offshore and onshore requirements • Review and comment on all audit reports prior to approval and final issue • Ensure all category 1 & 2 audit actions are entered into the incident reporting system (Synergi) in line with corporate auditing criteria • Responsible for various measurement and control elements for corporate auditing • Overall ownership of the Mis-Measurement process, liaising with Hydrocarbon accounting team for submission into the allocation system and close out • Maintain all metering registers including site dispensation, mismeasurement, audit tracker, site action asset equipment status and environmental status trackers • Submit updates to existing metering manuals and procedures as required through the appropriate process • Ensure all processes and procedures are reviewed ensuring compliance with all pipeline stipulations • Provides day to day technical support to the business as required, including the Metering Engineers, environmental, offshore assets and production function • Review of measurement systems for suitability including meter sizing, process reviews and equipment suitability • Ensure operational readiness reviews are carried out as required • Attend FAT’s/SAT’s for new and upgraded metering systems as required • Ensure all measurement systems have up to date uncertainty calculations • Review, create, modify and approve metering uncertainty reports • Preparation and ownership of AFA’s for key metering scopes, including upgrades and modifications to metering systems • Mobilisation of offshore metering personnel and third-party vendors in conjunction with the asset planning schedule • Ensure the calibration and recertification of field and test equipment is managed according to the applicable standards and stipulations • Ensure all analysis reports are processed, updated and implemented accordingly • Ensure all metering work scopes for planned outages are prepared and co-ordinated, including spares, vendors, procurement and work packs Professional Skills & Experience • Good technical understanding of regulations, codes, standards, guidelines and good practice for the UKCS oil and gas industry, relevant to role • Good understanding of hydrocarbon accounting and metering methods and procedures • Commercial awareness and understanding of offshore oil & gas production, transportation and onshore processing systems • Competency and an understanding of commercial and regulatory framework governing activities in the North Sea Oil and Gas upstream business • Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office and database systems. • Demonstrated proficiency with specialist metering supervisory and software applications such as FM2P, GCAS, TRuST, GEM. • Willing to identify and propose change and continual improvement Interpersonal Skills & Qualities • Role model of Repsol Sinopec Resources UK values demonstrating personal leadership which supports the business objectives • Unwavering ethical, safety, environmental and responsibility values • Strong leadership and motivational skills with an ability to identify opportunities and lead change. • Highly analytical. System Safety Engineer

The leader in the fixed wing HAPS market, Zephyr will revolutionise earth observation and connectivity across many sectors.Zephyr is a High-Altitude Platform Station (HAPS) and is the only of its kind to have demonstrated day/night longevity in the stratosphere. Providing a persistent and adaptable solution, unlike other unmanned aircraft. Its persistence enables a capability of flying continuously for months at a time, at around 70,000 feet, above weather and conventional air traffic. Working under supervision from the Zephyr Head of System Safety this role entails the production of safety deliverables to support Zephyr’s design roadmap, future flight campaigns and type certification.Job Profile The responsibilities of the safety design lead include, but are not limited to: Identifying derived safety requirements and supporting the Zephyr team in ensuring these requirements are suitably implemented and satisfied.Collation and validation of data in support of the safety arguments.Development and Maintenance of the System Safety Case and its various artefacts (PSSA, SSA, Hazard Logs, Fault Trees, GSN, Event Trees, Bow-Ties etc.).Development and Maintenance of Air System Safety Case Reports.Attending internal and external Safety Meetings as required (SSG, SWGs and PSC), representing the Head of Systems Safety when required.Assisting in the implementation of the Zephyr Platform SEMP.Support to Regulatory Approvals and Certification activity.Support to Safety Audits carried out by the product assurance organisation.Realisation of the customer’s contracted safety objectives.Review and validation of any safety data provided by suppliers. Engineering Stores Manager

We are looking to hire an Engineering Stores Manager on a Permanent basis based in Lostock, Cheshire. We are looking for a new Stores Manager to oversee our plant Stores on each of our sites in the Mid Cheshire area. Primarily based at our Lostock site, you will be responsible for delivering an improved Stores provision to our Engineering and Operational colleagues. We are currently undergoing a project to transform our Stores offer, and whilst much has been delivered, there is still room for improvement. Therefore, we are looking for someone with lots of Stores experience, preferably within a similar environment who can work with key stakeholders to deliver a great service to the sites whilst optimising SAP.
