SUBSCRIBESite Manager - Edinburgh - Contract My client are a leading tier 1 contractor who specialise in Major project schemes across the UK. They are actively looking for a Site Manager with experience within reinforced concrete podium structures in particular. The project is a £200m Commercial/Hospitality build in Edinburgh city centre and is for an immediate start. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in delivering project over £50m, have experience in working within Reinforced concrete, basement and groundwork sub packages. The work itself includes casting along with concrete cores to full height, concrete pours etc... Candidate must have: - CSCS (Black/White card preferred) - SMSTS (Essential) - 1st Aid (Essential) - Proven history in Concreting sub packages and references to support previous works - Available to start on Monday 8th March 21 - Engineering background (desirable) This role will fall in scope of IR35 and the only payroll method we will offer is PAYE or UMBRELLA ONLY, Ltd or CIS contractors not considered for this role.
Commercial Contract ManagerOur client is looking to recurit a Commercial Contract Manager from an initial 12 Month Contract, flexibly working between Home and our clients's offices in Preston. Key Responsibilities include: * Delivery of the suite of contracts and all contract deliverables * Delivery of other commercial sales contracts as required * Represent the Company and be recognised as the contractual lead and key interface with the customer maintaining and developing excellent customer and other stakeholder relationships in support of contract delivery * Leading/supporting the delivery of the Voice of the Customer (VOC) surveys including the management, feedback and closeout of resultant improvement actions * Coordinate and lead all customer meetings/visits/audits demonstrating an ability to positively impact and influence towards desired outcomes * Review and agree delivery schedules/shipment details in line with contractual lead times * Ownership and management of the contracts demand and financials including all income and cash forecasting, invoicing and cash collection and Business Plan submission in consultation with the Customer Account Manager/Asia Regional Fuel Delivery Director * Ownership and management of risk, mitigation plans and escalation where appropriate * Maintaining high standards of systems and control to support delivery always seeking for opportunities for continuous improvement * Manage and support the interface between supporting departments and business units e.g. production, quality, transport, finance and the relevant Business Units * Seek new opportunities within your contracts/customers * Lead new opportunities through the Company Stage Gate process and working with Commercial Integration / Customer Account Managers in reviewing offer letters and contract drafts. * Own and lead other departmental activities to support the BPD team Required experience / qualifications * Typically, a number of years relevant commercial experience with customer interface * A professional qualification relevant to the role or relevant experience.The role will involve* Working in the Fuel Delivery and Contract Management team (known locally as Business and Product Delivery (BPD)). WTA Power & Propulsion Systems EngineerWTA Power & Propulsion Systems Engineer Location: PortsmouthDuration: 6 monthsRate: £42.35 per hour LTD This role provides an integrated approach in line with Fleet Services' CONOPs to holistically manage product integrity, with governance and oversight of Engineering decisions that affect Power & Propulsion engineering issues for QEC. The QEC WTA Power & Propulsion Systems Engineer will provide the Industry in Service Support Team input, which together with input from the MOD's Warship Approving Authority team, will perform the QEC Design Authority for QEC related power and propulsion system issues. ResponsibilitiesEnsure the design integrity of QNLZ is maintained as it transitions from the build to the in service environment;Manage the efficient, timely and safe implementation of design change post QNLZ VAD, including update and upgrade activities;Contribute to the maintenance of configuration control of QEC;Provide authoritative evidence to demonstrate that design intent has been achieved and ensure that the design change has been holistically integrated;Ensures that the QNLZ Safety Case has integrity, is comprehensive, coherent and consistent.Collect and collates evidence for Naval Authority Certification submissions;Identify and propose opportunities for improvement of Platform design;Feedback on data quality and associated risk.
