3 days in-office at our West Bromwich plant and 2 days remote work

CHEP is seeking a Customer Service Advisor to join our dynamic team based in West Bromwich. As a Customer Service Advisor, you will play a crucial role in handling email inquiries, inbound calls, and a small amount of outbound calls related to logistics queries. You will be responsible for addressing a variety of customer concerns, including late deliveries, stock shortages, delivery scheduling, and account management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responding to customer inquiries via email and phone
  • Investigating late deliveries and determining the reasons behind delays
  • Addressing queries related to stock shortages and missing items in deliveries
  • Assisting customers with account management tasks such as username/password issues and booking arrangements
  • Collaborating with team members to ensure efficient and effective customer service delivery
  • Utilizing Excel for data management and reporting purposes

Position Details:

  • Hybrid role: 3 days in-office at our West Bromwich plant and 2 days remote work
  • Flexible schedule within the core hours of 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday
  • Contract length: August 2024
  • Hourly rate: £12.98
  • Location: CHEP, Roebuck St, West Bromwich B70 6RB
  • Immediate start date

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a customer service role, prioritizing customer satisfaction
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
  • Experience with both office-based and remote work settings
  • Excellent communication skills and proficiency in Excel
  • Desirable: Experience with SAP or Salesforce
