HR Administrator - 12 month fixed term

We are currently partnering with our Leeds based client as they look for a HR Administrator to join their small and friendly HR team on a 12 month fixed term contract to cover a period of maternity. 

This role will be based out of the office in Leeds with a hybrid working scheme offered. This will be up to 3 days per week working from home. Salary for the role is £25,000pa. Working hours will be 8:30am - 5:30pm. 

This is a true generalist HR Administrator position where you will be:

  • Reporting into the HR Manager, supporting them with any companywide HR projects
  • Providing a comprehensive and professional HR service to the business
  • Supporting with recruitment activity such as posting adverts, shortlisting candidates, arranging interviews and delivering offers
  • Managing the HR and ATS databases ensuring they are up to date and compliant
  • Supporting managers across the business with low level HR advice
  • Managing the onboarding and induction processes
  • Writing HR documentation which will include offer letters, probation updates, etc
  • Supporting with any other HR duties as required 

Requirements:

  • Proven experience of working in a fast-paced HR function as a HR Administrator
  • Ideally CIPD qualified, or studying towards, however this isn’t essential if there is proven experience 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Good IT and computer-related knowledge 
  • Ability to work independently and prioritise, in addition to thriving as part of a wider team 
  • Available for and can commit to a 12 month fixed term contract
