Senior FP&A Manager

Our client is currently seeking a skilled Senior Financial Planning and Analysis Manager for a contract role based in London – with 1 day per week in the office, with the occasional travel to the other offices.

This is a 6-month contract with a competitive Inside IR35 day rate.

Job Purpose:

The Senior Financial Planning and Analysis Manager works alongside the customers business to maximise Gross Margin and optimise the return on acquisition and marketing investment. You will support, challenge, and advise on strategic and operational decision-making related to Gross Margin, Acquisition and Marketing operating costs which results in higher, sustainable EBITDA and cash.

Role Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for ensuring that reporting is automated or offshored wherever possible. They will also be solely responsible for the accuracy of the monthly forecast for Gross Margin and associated costs and the integrity of the associated Balance Sheet transactions. A key element of this role will be to provide excellent Business Partnering and decision support services to the teams they support. Ensuring they are at the heart of decision making, they will advise stakeholders on the financial impacts of their activities and provide guidance on how best to achieve their financial and strategic targets.

The ideal candidate will hold a:

•            Accounting qualification – Fully qualified (ACA/CIMA/ACCA)

•            Be able to demonstrate use of financial systems (SAP), strong analysis skills and experience in financial accounting.

•            You’ll be highly accountable with an attention to detail and resilience to work through issues.

•            Develop, coach, and manage their direct reports (4-5 direct line reports)

•            Strong experience in managing data sets.

•            Have a background or experience in business partnering.
