About the Role
A growing, international organisation is seeking a commercially focused and strategically minded Finance Business Partner to support its European operations. This is a high-impact role, ideal for a qualified finance professional with excellent stakeholder management skills, strong business acumen, and a passion for data-driven decision-making. The successful candidate will play a key part in driving business performance, supporting financial planning and analysis, and delivering meaningful insights across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with budget holders and senior management to support strategic decision-making with clear, data-led insights
  • Build strong working relationships across departments to promote financial accountability
  • Analyse variances, investigate trends, and present findings in monthly performance reports
  • Produce and deliver monthly reporting packs (WD7) and support rolling P&L forecasting
  • Liaise with offshore finance teams, ensuring data accuracy and resolving queries
  • Collaborate with accounting and control teams on financial data collation and analysis
  • Support the development of competitor and market insight reports
  • Contribute to annual budget planning and forecasting cycles
  • Present financial performance at departmental meetings, including KPIs and commercial updates
  • Identify opportunities for cost optimisation, risk mitigation, and commercial growth

Candidate Profile

  • ACCA/CIMA qualified with at least 2–3 years of post-qualification experience
  • Strong commercial acumen and a track record in effective business partnering
  • Confident engaging with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams
  • Proficient in Excel and data analysis; Power BI experience is advantageous
  • Organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
  • Proactive mindset with a drive for continuous improvement
  • Strong communication skills, particularly when presenting complex data to non-finance audiences
