This will include the timely and accurate maintenance of the Integrated Work Schedule (IWS) in adherence with the project processes, management of (contract) schedules, and provision of time-related data and analysis. To assist and support the PMO when required to ensure alignment with the Level 2 (client) IWS. To support the Scheduling Lead in the development of Scheduling standards, policies and strategies. To support the project in making informed decisions to support the efficient and timely delivery of work scope.
It is the overarching objective of the Project Controls Function to act as a centre of excellence: the intelligent owners of the single source of delivery performance information, operating as an integrated enabler for the successful delivery of the Project.

• Ensure the IWS is updated to reflect work progress and performance, to an agreed timeframe defined by the Central Controls Team/
• Manage resources and integration of contractor schedules into the IWS.
• Oversee the analysis, review and acceptance of contractor schedules.
• Manage schedule change within the Programme.
• Assist in the Trend & Change process, including analysis at Programme level, generating performance indicators and providing feedback on areas of risk and opportunities.
• Identify, analyse and provide solutions to time-related issues.
• Co-ordinate, verify and produce Programme-level schedule reports to a defined reporting cycle, including commentary on key time-related drivers and performance issues.
• Adhere to Project governance and Scheduling standards and procedures.
• Ensure all Project documents, in particular Sensitive Nuclear Information, are correctly protectively marked, and protected in accordance with the policies and procedures.

Functional Management:
• Accountable for the adherence of direct reports to Project governance and standards.
• Proactively seek to continuously improve Discipline performance by implementing best practice and learning.
• Facilitate collaboration with Programme teams and wider industry partners to ensure consistency and transparency in approach and data.
• Take necessary care to ensure that direct reports properly protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of corporate information from unauthorised disclosure, modification or destruction.
• Support the recruitment process for the Discipline.
