FM Delivery Lead

Upon completion, this project will provide sustainable electricity to millions of homes for decades, playing a pivotal role alongside renewable energy sources in our collective journey towards achieving Net Zero emissions by 2050.

Role Overview:
As the Site Operations Facilities Management (FM) Delivery Lead, you will report directly to the Site Operations Facilities Management Manager. Your primary responsibility will be overseeing the day-to-day delivery and implementation of a specific package of work. Your role is integral to ensuring the efficient provision of essential support services in alignment with safety, quality, time, and cost parameters essential for supporting the construction project.

You will provide technical expertise and guidance across all stages of procurement, planning, implementation, and operation within your designated contract area. In addition, you will collaborate with stakeholders to develop, review, and refine policies and procedures essential for strategy alignment within your scope of work.

Key Responsibilities:
Manage the day-to-day provision of critical site support services to a sizable construction workforce.
Directly oversee and manage a significant service contract valued at approximately £80 million throughout its full project lifecycle.
Ensure compliance with all statutory, regulatory, and site controls.
Foster productive relationships with service contract partners, promoting clarity, respect, positivity, humility, and integrity.
Ensure the competency of the contract partners team, addressing any shortcomings promptly.
Develop and execute plans to meet or exceed service delivery expectations and project timelines.
Proactively address issues to prevent escalation, fostering a collaborative _one team_ approach.

Requirements:

Degree-level education in a related field.
Previous experience in facilities services management and contractor oversight.
Leadership experience within a service-oriented environment.
Familiarity with high-security environments.
Adaptability and confidence in dynamic settings.
Strong communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships across all levels.
Willingness to collaborate with local supply chain partners in a cooperative manner.

Desirable Skills:
Certification in a recognized Behavioural Safety Program.
Recent accreditation from IOSH or equivalent.
