About the Opportunity 

Our Nuclear Power Engineering & Technical Solutions (NPETS) division provides engineering and technical solutions across the entire nuclear lifecycle, including Decommissioning. As new reactor technologies emerge, we continuously evolve our expertise, positioning ourselves as the UK’s premier Engineering & Technical solutions provider across all reactor types to tackle the global climate change challenge. 

We’re currently seeking Senior Process Engineers to support our endeavors on Advanced Nuclear Reactor projects, including Small Modular Reactors. These projects are crucial for developing modular reactor designs that are anticipated to play a pivotal role in the UK’s future energy landscape. You’ll be at the forefront, applying innovative techniques, modular construction, and advanced manufacturing methods to drive down the cost of electricity generation from nuclear power. Your responsibilities will include process design development, hazard identification studies, and ensuring technical assurance of design reports. 

Hybrid working arrangements between the office and home are also supported based on project commitments. 

Qualifications 

  • Degree-qualified, chartered engineer.
  • Proven track record of leading process-based projects to meet deadlines and high-quality standards.
  • Demonstrable design and review experience in highly regulated environments.
  • Experience in business development and growing process workstreams.
  • Extensive stakeholder management skills.
  • Capability to mentor and develop junior engineers.
  • Excellent collaborative, innovative, problem-solving, and communication skills.
