Morosn Telent is actively seeking candidates for the position of Head of Fleet Production, offering a permanent role with a major rail client in Derby. This hybrid role involves overseeing Regional Fleet operations across Etches Park depot, Eastcroft depot, and various outstations.

The purpose of the role is to lead, manage and motivate the Fleet Production team in both the planning and delivery of Fleet Maintenance across all Production Depots and Outstations.

To deliver the fleet safely and efficiently on a daily basis. Setting and delivering against agreed targets for safety, daily availability fleet performance and attendance.

To set own and devolve within the team, the Fleet Production budget.

To work with and alongside Fleet senior team and extended leadership team colleagues and peers to efficiently and effectively deliver the companies goals and objectives.

Skills Exp e rience , Knowledge & Qualifications Required:
• Educated to a degree standard or equivalent.
• Demonstrable experience managing production environments at a senior level
• Strong experience of people management in a unionised environment.
• A strong communic ator with the proven ability to lead and motivate a diverse team.
• A strong safety leader with experience in managing safety improvement initiatives
• Ability to motivate and inspire a large team.
• Experienced in Trade Union engagement.
• Exce llent written, verbal and numerical skills.
• Ab ility to analyse data and implement changes based on the information.
• Good commercial acumen and experienced in stakeholder management
• Experience o f r ailway rolling stock or another technical discipline would be advantag e ous.
• IOSHH, NEBOSH or an equivale nt health and safety qualification would be advantageous.
