Administrator

We are currently seeking an Administrator for one of our rail clients based in York. This position offers an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team on a 3 - 6 month contract basis. This role offers a balanced working arrangement, with 3 days to be spent in our office in York and 2 days working remotely from home. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in addressing a significant backlog of invoicing tasks.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and process invoicing tasks for historical works, collaborating with various stakeholders to gather necessary information.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness in invoicing documentation.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external parties to resolve invoicing discrepancies and inquiries.
  • Provide administrative support as needed to ensure smooth operations within the team.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in administrative roles, demonstrating strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Familiarity with invoicing processes is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to adapt to varying complexities in invoicing tasks.
  • Comfortable inquiring and investigating to determine historical details and requirements for invoicing.
