Rates: £26.38 + 16.59% PAYE or £35.16 umbrella

Location: Lillie Bridge Depot, W14 9LP
Our client in the rail sector is looking to recruit an operative to perform Inspection and calibration duties on train tools and components. You would also be carrying out minor repairs. Lillie Bridge Depot provide calibration of tools, guages and instruments used across London Underground.
This role could suit you if you have a Quality or Goods In Inspector background or alternatively extensive calibration or tool maker experience. You may also have been a machinist.
The majority of the work is “hands on” or tools based however there is a database that you would be trained on so it would help if you are comfortable using a computer.
This operative will need to have an engineering background and be comfortable using a range of plant and equipment. You would be working to fine measurements and whilst the work is hands on it is not heavy.
This role is on days. Monday to Thursday you would work from 7am to 3pm and on Fridays you would work from 7am to 12 noon.
