Management Accountant – Permanent

Hybrid Working – 3/2 split in the office per week

A well-established global organisation is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Management Accountant to join its collaborative Finance team. Supporting Senior Management Accountants and Finance Business Partners, this role plays a key part in delivering accurate and timely management reporting and analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly management accounts, including variance analysis against budget
- Conduct overhead reviews and provide insightful commentary on trends and variances
- Prepare and post journals, accruals, and prepayments
- Assist with the preparation of monthly financial reports and structured analysis
- Support the annual budgeting and forecasting process
- Contribute to ad-hoc financial analysis and special projects
- Work closely with shared services to ensure accuracy of accounts payable and cash postings
- Resolve queries and maintain strong relationships across finance and operational teams
About You
You’re a driven, solution-focused finance professional who enjoys working both independently and collaboratively. You have a keen eye for detail, excellent organisational skills, and a clear, confident communication style.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar finance or management accounting role
- Actively studying AAT / CIMA / ACCA
- Proficient in Excel and confident working with financial data
- Experience with accounting systems (Oracle preferred)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines
- A proactive attitude and willingness to support continuous improvement
