We are seeking a dynamic and strategic HR Business Partner to join a fast growing growing Hospitality and Leisure Business in Leeds on a permanent basis.
Supporting the Group Head of People, this role is ideal for someone looking to help carve out the future of an HR Department, gaining invaluable skills in this generalist role where you will be supporting with Employee Relations, implementing and delivering on strategy, and providing necessary support to management throughout the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with the Group Head of People to deliver employee engagement initiatives that strengthen culture and morale
- Lead on HR systems implementation support and, post-launch, provide monthly people metrics and insights—covering turnover, absence, headcount, and external market observations
- Act as the first line of support for all HR queries across the Group, offering clear, policy-aligned, and legally compliant advice
- Manage key HR processes including onboarding and induction, absence tracking, performance issues, disciplinary cases, grievances, and formal investigations
- Collaborate with managers to deliver change and transformation initiatives, fostering strong employee relations throughout
- Contribute to the development and review of HR policies, ensuring alignment with employment law and current best practice
- Play an active role in TUPE processes by conducting due diligence on employee liability information, coordinating with clients and unions, and supporting consultation and transition activities
- Analyse exit interview feedback to help shape employee retention strategies
- Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion by embedding inclusive practices and using data insights to inform continuous improvement
- Coordinate mental health and wellbeing initiatives across the Group, promoting a proactive, supportive workplace culture
- Drive continuous improvement in HR processes and service delivery
Personal Specification:
- Experience in an HR business partnering role
- Working knowledge of TUPE, change management, and Unions
- Confident and personable, able to support a diverse range of stakeholders
- Able to work in a busy, fast-paced role
- CIPD Level 5 qualification, or working towards
