Senior Pipeline Engineer

  • Location: Hybrid, 2 days in any of the following office locations: Epsom / London / Peterborough / Manchester / Leeds / Glasgow
  • Duration: 6 months +
  • Pay Rate: £65 p/h (inside IR35)

Our client specialise in all aspects of water engineering across sectors such as Aviation, Defence, Energy and Cities & Development. 

They currently require a Senior Pipeline Engineer to join their business and support on a variety of pipeline design projects.

Responsibilities:

• Manage a team to undertake technical design work following relevant design standards and codes, and to high-quality levels.
• Prepare briefs, scopes of work, and input into bid proposals.
• Successfully manage time and budgets to key project milestones and programmes.
• Work closely with teams in the UK and overseas to deliver integrated design solutions.
• Adhere to quality assurance standards in design.

Qualifications/Experience: 

• Chartered Civil Engineer.
• Experience in pipeline design delivery, including engagement of multidisciplinary design resources.
• Sound knowledge of hydraulics, pipe restraint and jointing, pipeline materials, bedding and UTX.
• Proficiency in designing within appropriate digital analysis packages, following local and national guidance. eg HADES, InfoWorks, EPANET.
