Junior/Sub Project Manager

We are excited to announce a new opportunity for a JUNIOR/SUB PROJECT MANAGER to join our Clients team based in Whitehaven, West Cumbria.

About the Role:

Reporting to the AXIOM Senior Project Manager, a Sub Project Manager is required for the AXIOM project design delivery team within the Analytical Services and Active Area’s programme of work.

Responsibilities will include:

Working closely with the Project team to track and manage KPI’s, including forecasting revenue at risk, change management and communicating CE’s & EW’s.

Engagement with Responsible Engineers across a number of disciplines to ensure consistency when estimates are prepared.

Ensuring the relevant project risks which may affect contractual KPI’s are identified and managed/mitigated as appropriate. This includes regular monitoring of the residual risks.

Progression of timely responses to contractual requests from the client including Early Warning Notices, Compensation Events and other contractual documents

Chairing/Attending project meetings on behalf of the AXIOM Senior Project Manager, to support forward planning, preparation and readiness for the contract administration.

Stakeholder management as required by the AXIOM Senior Project Manager.

Upward reporting of issues to the AXIOM Senior Project Manager.

Maximising Learning from Experience, disseminating and input of LFE across all project stages.

Working closely with the Senior PM supporting contract administration, project reviews and stakeholder engagement.

Support to the delivery team enabling safe and efficient working against the project baseline cost, schedule and quality requirements.

Provision of weekly updates to the planner and cost engineers, to enable effective progress monitoring and schedule accuracy.

Ability to Project Manage a number of tasks within the portfolio.

The successful candidate may commence work with BPSS and partner IT, whilst SC, P1 / P4 is in process.

Remote candidates will be considered on the basis that travel to Whitehaven will be required.
