Commissioning Engineer

We have an exciting new opportunity for a COMMISSIONING ENGINEER based at Sellafield in West Cumbria.

Key Responsibilities include:

Safely carrying out all testing activities throughout all stages of commissioning.
Identification of faults and the ability to propose and implement solutions.
Production of test documentation.
Pre site inspections.
Organisation of Commissioning and support resources.
Demonstration of plant knowledge.
Initiation and implementation of FOBs.
Witnessing of test activities.
Input Risk Assessment and Safety System of Work.

Key Accountabilities:

To work with and provide support to, commissioning colleagues and personnel involved in other disciplines.
To work alongside others to:
Promote a positive health and safety culture.
Improve project performance and to meet company targets.
To achieve accurate recording of test results in an audible manner to satisfy internal and external auditors.
To support the project Commissioning Team Leader/Commissioning Manager.
To comply with the commissioning standard.
To comply with site procedures.
