Project Control Support

Role

I am working with my client at Dounreay who are looking for a project controls support within the reactors programme.

What you get

• Hybrid role
• £19-£27 p/hour PAYE
• 12 Months +

Expectations

• Participate in and provide information on project controls processes and systems to project teams
• Use recognised best practise in project controls and comply with all Dounreay standards, procedures and instructions
• Interact proactively/routinely with the project control staff in other areas/interfacing teams for project/operations cost data and expenditure profiles, ensuring that costs are correctly aligned with programme phases, activities and duration
• Advise project teams of project controls performance issues. Identify developing project control issues and escalate as needed
• Support the project delivery teams
• Analyse progress against project baseline

Requirements

• HNC in science/business/engineering or equivalent qualification plus experience
• Relevant experience in project controls
• IT Literate; experienced in the use of Microsoft Office software, specifically Excel and its functionality
• A good grounding in Maths and a logical thinker with a questioning mind
•Ability to work to deadlines
