Job Title: Systems Engineer

Clearance Requirement: All candidates must hold B-level security clearance.

Overview:
My client is seeking experienced Systems Engineers with strong expertise in configuration management, integration, and interface control. Successful candidates will join a collaborative engineering team and contribute to a complex design and build project involving multiple disciplines and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage technical design interfaces across multiple disciplines and consultancies on a large-scale project.

  • Develop and manage digital Systems Engineering models in alignment with industry best practices.

  • Review and approve models within SparxEA.

  • Implement and oversee interface management policies and procedures.

  • Engage in cross-functional coordination, covering areas such as production engineering, civil engineering, site services, and inter-project dependencies.

  • Identify and engage relevant stakeholders and design partners.

  • Interpret and apply existing policies and procedures.

  • Refine operational procedures, work instructions, and technical guidance.

  • Drive interface agreements to completion.

  • Support configuration management efforts by implementing policies, procedures, and baseline change control.

Skills, Experience & Qualifications Required:

  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in a similar role.

  • Strong background in configuration management and familiarity with recognised CM standards.

  • Solid understanding of systems engineering principles.

  • Proven experience working in a multidisciplinary design and build environment.

  • Effective stakeholder management and collaborative working across design teams.

  • Proficiency in SparxEA and DOORS is desirable.

  • Ability to produce clear documentation and guidance materials.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Confident in providing direction and representing the team with clients and partners.

  • Demonstrates initiative and promotes health and safety best practices.

  • Motivated team player capable of inspiring and supporting peers within a project delivery environment.
