HSE Product Engineer

About the Company
Morson Talent have partnered with a global technology company that builds advanced systems used in defence, aerospace, security, and transportation. In the Netherlands, they’re especially known for their work in high-tech military communication and radar systems - helping crews stay connected and aware of their surroundings during missions. The work environment is innovative, collaborative, and highly international.

About the Role
We’re looking for a HSE Product Engineer to join the engineering team, where your focus is to make sure that the hardware products being developed comply with environmental and safety regulations - particularly RoHS, REACH, and CE standards.

We need someone with a technical background (ideally electronics or mechanical engineering) who understands how to analyse the materials and components used in a product and can help produce documentation (like a Declaration of Conformity).

This role isn’t about workplace safety or facility HSE — it’s about product-level compliance.

Why you’d be a good match
• We are looking for a colleague with a bachelor’s degree with a technical background.
• You have experience with Eco product design.
• You have knowledge of Health and Safety standards like IOS45001 or Environmental standards like ISO14001.
• You are familiar with the RoHS, REACH and CE HSE related regulations.
• You like to work in multifunctional development teams.

What’s in it for you
• A challenging job in a great team within a high-tech, innovative work environment. Includes freedom for initiative and good ideas.
• Room for personal and professional growth within the organization, for example regarding technical, commercial or international skills.
• Valuable international collaboration with co-workers from 68 different countries around the globe.
• A comfortable workspace in a modern environment, with a focus on flexibility and the right work life balance.
• You can usually work where and whenever you want. The aim is for a 60/40 balance, where you work from home at least two days a week, when your role allows this.
• A good salary, fitting travel allowance, and the ability to personalise your employment conditions: for instance, you can trade PTO for internet costs, bicycle plan, company fitness and relocation costs.
• 40 days off per year (PTO). Yes, really.

Diversity Statement
The company actively support a working pattern that suits your lifestyle and helps you reach your ambitions. That means that equal opportunities, inclusion and an informal culture are integral to success. It also means that your well-being and happiness matter to us! That’s why they offer you flexibility to do what’s important to you; whether that’s part time hours, job sharing, remote working, or the ability to flex your start and finish times.

Security Requirements
In line with Company Baseline Security requirements, candidates will be asked to provide evidence of identity, eligibility to work in The Netherlands and employment and/or education history. Some vacancies may require a security clearance which can require further evidence to be provided. For further details of the evidence required to apply for security clearance please refer to the General Intelligence and Security Service.
