Production Manager
Location: Wrexham
45,000-48,000 per annum
Monday – Friday, 8 hours per day inclusive of paid break, start/end times flexible.

An established and forward-thinking manufacturer based in Wrexham is seeking a dynamic Production Manager to lead operations across key areas of their facility, including the Starch Refinery, Solvite Line, and Drum Dried Department. The Role
As Production Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of several key production departments, ensuring performance, safety, and quality targets are consistently met. You will lead a team of operatives and supervisors, driving continuous improvement and collaborating closely with engineering, supply chain, and quality teams.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage operations within the Starch Refinery, Solvite Line, and Drum Dried Department.
• Ensure all production activities meet quality, safety, and performance standards.
• Drive productivity and efficiency improvements across the departments.
• Manage staffing levels, rotas, and team development within the designated areas.
• Monitor KPIs and production metrics, identifying and resolving performance issues.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to resolve operational issues and minimise downtime.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation, company policies, and standards where applicable.
• Support and lead continuous improvement initiatives across your areas of responsibility.
• Participate in audits and inspections, taking corrective actions as required.
• Provide regular reporting and updates to the operations director regarding departmental performance.
• Conduct performance reviews, manage attendance, and address conduct or capability issues in line with company policy.
• Action any health and safety concerns or SOS cards withing a timely manner, or escalate where necessary
