Site Engineer

Morson are currently recruiting for Site Engineers based in Brighton for a long term contract starting in May.

Working as part of the site management team, youll be expected to liaise with other members of the construction support team including engineers, planners, subcontractors, supervisors and surveyors

· Implementation and ensuring compliance to Safe systems of work in line with SHE Procedures

· Carrying out site inductions

· Contributing to site collaborative planning and supporting the site agent in development of the project look-ahead programme, identifying change and risks

· Support the promotion of SHE initiatives and actively promote the recording of hazards and observations

· Identifying material requirements in line with the programme, highlighting requirements in a timely manner

· Support the Site Agent in the identification of blockers/issues and ensure that solutions are developed to resolve, escalating promptly where out of your area of control or influence
100% SHEQ compliance with the Framework HASEMP, and compliance with the Framework Management plan

Candidates must have water experience both clean and wastewater

· HNC/HND or degree in a relevant engineering discipline

· Understanding of Engineering Principles

· Technical knowledge of construction techniques and best practices.

· Relevant CSCS Card

· SMSTS

· Degree level qualification in a Civil Engineering allied subject or HNC in Civil Engineering and vocational training in Engineering
