Job Title: Supplier Quality Engineer

Location: North West England, Cumbria, Warwick

Job Type: Contract, expected to work Full-Time hours

Primary Industry: Engineering

Salary: £30.00 - £35.00 Per hour

WFH - 2 days a week - some flex 

couple of times a month at a supplier - UK and little bit of europe (Holland and Germany)

Job Description:

Job Duties:

• Ensure suppliers meet quality standards and requirements
• Conduct supplier audits and assessments
• Develop and implement supplier quality improvement initiatives
• Resolve quality issues with suppliers
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality concerns

Required Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a quality engineering role
• Knowledge of quality management systems
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field

Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a quality engineering position

Knowledge and Skills:

• Understanding of supplier quality processes
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Proficiency in quality tools and methodologies
• Attention to detail and analytical thinking

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in Quality Management (e.g., Six Sigma)
• Experience working in the engineering industry

Working Conditions:

• Office-based role with occasional travel to supplier sites
• Regular interaction with suppliers and internal teams
