Scottish Power Corporate are looking for a Job Evaluation Lead to join them on a contract basis.

Role: Job Evaluation Lead
Business: Scottish Power Corporate
Location: Remote
Duration: 12 month initial contract

Job Purpose Statement
To lead the co-ordination and delivery of job evaluation and grading processes across the ScottishPower Businesses, ensuring governance processes and quality control in place.

Accountability Statements

  • Work with the Business partners to quality assure and prioritise the pipeline of job evaluation activity across the organisation.
  • Manage the job evaluation process across ScottishPower ensuring internal and external resources in place to deliver.
  • Conduct comprehensive job evaluations, ensuring consistency and fairness of outcome across all roles.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on Hay job evaluation methodology and internal policy, processes and best practice. Offering training and support to colleagues as required.
  • Ensure the integrity of governance processes and quality control of outcomes through all job evaluation activity delivered.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and ScottishPower policies.
  • Identify opportunities to improve job evaluation processes and policies ensuring clarity, consistency and simplicity.
  • Work collaboratively with the Business to guide on job evaluation processes and communicate outcomes clearly and concisely.

Skills, Knowledge & Experience

  • Strong understanding of and significant practical experience in the application of the Hay job evaluation methodology and framework.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations.
  • Significant experience in managing end to end job evaluation processes, process governance, and quality control.
  • The ability to manage multiple senior stakeholders and build effective working relationships.
  • The ability to work independently and manage a project from start to finish.
