Rewards Analyst

Our client Scottish Power are currently recruiting for a Rewards Analyst to join the team based Glasgow City Centre.

This will be a contract role for 12 months initially and open to the role being remote.

Job Purpose Statement
The Reward Analyst will support the delivery of project and cyclical activity, e.g. salary review process and bonus cycles, within their designated Business area, through the provision of data analysis and data modelling support.
Accountability Statements
Reporting/Benchmarking/Data Interrogation & Analysis:
•Undertake external Reward benchmarking, involving the identification, preparation and interrogation of data to develop meaningful data insights
•Development of data led proposals and presentations to support Reward business case and policy development.
•Work closely with colleagues to respond to Group led reporting requirements
•Provide support to regulatory reporting requirements, including Gender Pay Gap Reporting.
•Support the delivery of job evaluation activity.

Solution development
•Working closely with Reward managers and Senior Reward Consultants, will gather data requirements, identify solutions, and develop pay/reward models, options and impacts.
•Will support Reward Managers/Senior Reward Consultants in presenting models, options and impacts to HR and Business stakeholders, and answering questions.
•Will provide data/modelling support to other HR or Business led projects or initiatives
•Will ensure strong governance and change control processes apply to all data sources and data models.

Processes/Technology:
•Support all cyclical Reward activity, identifying opportunities to automate, streamline and improve processes.
•Will support Workday project activity to transition activity to Workday.
•Support the Reward manager/Senior Reward Consultant in responding to escalated reward policy queries.

Skills, Knowledge & Experience
•Advanced knowledge of MS Excel.
•Knowledge of Workday and other HR/Data platforms would be useful.
•Proficiency in handling and analysing large data sets
•Previous experience in a data/analytics role in Reward, HR or other analytical function e.g. Finance would be useful
•Experienced in communicating complex data to meet stakeholders’ requirements

Minimum Criteria (mandatory)
•Advanced Excel knowledge.
• Proficiency in handling and analysing large data sets
• Experience in preparing and presenting complex data to stakeholders
• Strong attention to detail
• Good problem-solving skills
