Project Design Manager (Part-Time – 1 Day/Week)

**Location:** Annan, Dumfries and Galloway (On-site travel required)
**Commitment:** 1 day per week
**Duration:** Up to 3 years (long-term potential)
**Rate:** £50/hour (inclusive of fees)

### **Role Overview:**

We are seeking a **Technical Project Manager** to support a long-term, community-led development project in Annan. This is a part-time freelance opportunity (1 day per week) working with a charitable organisation, offering meaningful impact and potential for future growth.

The ideal candidate will have a background in construction or architectural project management and be confident advising on detailed design, building works, and landscaping activities. Experience with **RIBA Stage 4** deliverables is essential. This role requires on-site presence in Annan for project meetings, assessments, and stakeholder coordination.

### **Key Responsibilities:**

* Provide technical project management expertise during RIBA Stage 4 (Technical Design).
* Review and advise on detailed building and landscaping design.
* Coordinate with architects, consultants, and contractors.
* Support tender and procurement processes where required.
* Monitor project timelines, risks, and milestones.
* Attend site meetings and liaise with stakeholders.
* Ensure project remains aligned with funding requirements and community objectives.

### **Required Experience & Skills:**

* Proven experience as a **Technical Project Manager** in the built environment.
* Strong understanding of **RIBA Stage 4** and construction project lifecycles.
* Ability to interpret and advise on architectural and engineering designs.
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Experience working on community, public, or charitable projects is a plus.
* Able to travel to **Annan** as part of the role.
