Senior Legal Counsel
Hemel Hempstead (Hybrid – 3 days office / 2 days remote)
Full-time | 6 month contract

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Legal Counsel to join a dynamic, fast-paced company operating across multiple sectors. In this highly visible role, you’ll work directly with senior stakeholders and contribute to commercial success by delivering expert legal support across the business.

This is a chance to step into a prominent, wide-ranging position where your legal expertise and commercial acumen will be genuinely valued.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Providing strategic and day-to-day legal guidance across operational and functional teams.

  • Advising on high-value commercial and technology contracts.

  • Supporting M&A activity, including due diligence and integration.

  • Managing commercial disputes and collaborating with external legal counsel as needed.

  • Ensuring compliance with data privacy laws (including GDPR).

  • Advising on consumer law matters, including advertising and marketing.

  • Overseeing legal spend and maintaining internal legal frameworks.

  • Playing an active role in the senior leadership team.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Qualified solicitor or barrister in England & Wales with 6+ years PQE.

  • Strong experience in commercial contracts, M&A, and consumer law.

  • Solid understanding of data protection laws and practical GDPR application.

  • Comfortable advising across a wide range of legal areas, including real estate and employment.

  • A pragmatic and commercially-minded approach with excellent stakeholder engagement skills.

  • Prior in-house experience, with a preference for candidates from dynamic or rapidly evolving environments.
