Electronics Data Processor

ELECTRONICS DATA PROCESSOR

Location – Liverpool (Speke)
Type of role – Full time Permanent
Salary - £23,000-28,000/annum (depends on experience)
Hours – Monday to Friday (37.5hrs/week)

Our client is a global business that specialise in test solutions for circuit board manufacture. With more than half decade of experience they have an excellent reputation for providing outstanding testing products to global well-known companies.

About the Role
As a result of significant growth, our client is looking for Electronics Data Processor to support their data processing team. You will learn how to understand customer supplied information, which can come in countless formats and styles. You will then process this data and send reports and figures to the sales and engineering teams.
If a quote has been successful, you will then liaise with the engineering and design team to start the building blocks of the project with CAD, drill and software files.
This role requires attention to detail, technical proficiency, and effective communication skills. The accurate processing of data is crucial for maintaining quality and meeting customer expectations.

Job specifications
• Working within a close-knit data processing team
• Processing PCB CAD files using specialist software
• Processing of text/csv files into standard formats.
• Liaising with test engineers and the sales team about project timelines
• Pricing jobs and preparing quotations
• Ensuring that accurate information is supplied in a timely manner internally and to the customer.

Skills/experience
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Be proficient in Microsoft office (Word, Excel).
• Decent numerical skills with a good eye for detail.
• Have the ability to multitask.
• Be able to work collaboratively as well as independently.
• Excellent IT skills.
• Be naturally inquisitive and willing to learn custom software and processes.
• Ability to read and understand electrical drawings (advantageous)
• Come from a data processing background (advantageous)
• Experience with AutoCAD (advantageous)
• Some exposure to any programming language (advantageous)
• Have strong communication skills (advantageous)
