Technology Enablement Manager

£45 - £60.69 per hour

Morson are currently recruiting for a manager to deliver technology enablement projects for one of our defence clients. Working within a small team you will support a range of advancements in various business areas including IT, manufacturing, cyber security, data analytics and project controls. We’re looking for someone that has managed or delivered a project with a technology enablement focus. You will need to be a strategic thinker that has managed business cases.

This role is being offered on a 12-month contract to support maternity leave. You will be required to work full time on site in Barrow-in-Furness. We can pay a rate for the role of £45 per hour PAYE or £60.69 per hour Umbrella inside IR35.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development of the technology enablement strategy to ensure it’s coherent, consistent, achievable and sustainable.
  • Deploy ways of working, within the organisation and key suppliers.
  • Use the partner portal to create a route of technology enablement.
  • Develop coherency between the technology enablement team and OpEx ways of working using managed service requests.
  • Support technology demonstrators alongside Manufacturing Technology and R&T.
  • Streamline voting and shared roadmaps for future development.
  • Support the preparation of funding bids across technology enablement.

Requirements

  • Extensive knowledge of Project Management tools, techniques and practices.
  • Prior experience of implementing technology enablement.
  • Good Commercial & Finance knowledge.
  • Developed communication and diplomacy skills.
  • Controls resources and policy formation in wider area of responsibility.
  • University level education or professional qualifications gained through industry.
  • Professional PM Qualification or years of practical experience.

Recognising the RESTRICTED nature of the work, suitable candidates will be SC cleared or eligible for this level of clearance
