The Role:
As an Aircraft Technician, youll find yourself in a role thats far from ordinary. Youll leverage your experience and skills as a Mechanical Technician to undertake a variety of detailed maintenance activities on aircraft and their components.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

• Completing depth maintenance and diagnostic activities on aircraft or components, including scheduled maintenance, inspections, repairs, and modifications.
• Analysing and diagnosing faults, applying your expertise to effect repairs or suggest improvements.
• Maintaining personal task competencies and ensuring compliance with regulations and procedures.
• This is a full-time role based onsite at RAF Valley.

Essential Experience:

• Trade Principles training
• Computer literacy
• Completion of an Engineering Apprenticeship, preferably in Aeronautical Engineering, or equivalent military qualifications.
• Academic qualification such as City & Guilds 2675 Aeronautical Engineering and Maintenance or NVQ Level 3 in an Aeronautical-related discipline.

The successful candidate must be able to achieve BPSS security clearance for this role.

• 10 days special paid leave for Reservists in the armed forces
