£41.53 - £55 per hour

Morson are currently recruiting for one of our prestigious defence contractors in Bristol. This role is for a project manager interested in working on maritime defence projects. They are looking for a dynamic and ambitious leader with strong experience and a proven track record in project delivery and project controls. You will be involved in the design, manufacturing and delivery of equipment for new-build defence vessels.

The role is being offered on a hybrid remote basis with a base location of Ashton Vale, Bristol. It is a contract role, with a length of 5 months, and the possibility of extension. The role is inside IR35 with a rate of £41.53 per hour PAYE or £55 per hour Umbrella.

Requirements

• Project Management experience within an Engineering environment.
• PMQ or PPQ or equivalent.
• Able to lead a team and be responsible for planning, motivation, scheduling, conflict management and negotiations.
• Experience of managing budget, health and safety for a project.
• Knowledge of project controls tools and how these tools operate to provide key information for decision making.
• Commercially and financially astute, with a challenging mind-set
• Excellent interpersonal skills – communicate effectively with colleagues at all levels and with external bodies.

Desirable Experience

• Project management within an Automotive, Nuclear, Defence or Aerospace environment.
• Experience of working with the MOD.
• Project management certifications.

Recognising the RESTRICTED nature of the work, suitable candidates will be SC cleared or eligible for this level of clearance before starting on site
