Infrastructure Architect

Infrastructure Architect - £700 to £750 per day - Inside IR35 - Hybrid working with 3 days a week on site near Braintree, Essex or Wythenshawe, Manchester - 6 Month initial contract.

My client is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Architect specializing in VoIP, telecommunications, and Critical National Infrastructure (CNI). The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining telecom infrastructure, with experience in legacy PBX systems being highly desired.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop scalable VoIP and telecom infrastructure solutions.
• Lead the architecture and integration of legacy PBX systems with modern technologies.
• Ensure the robustness, security, and reliability of telecom networks and infrastructure.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and implement infrastructure requirements.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance on telecom and VoIP best practices.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for infrastructure designs and implementations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure issues.

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience in VoIP, telecommunications, and CNI.
• Strong background in the telecom industry, with a focus on legacy PBX systems.
• Hands-on experience with legacy PBX systems (e.g., Siemens ISDX, Ericsson, Mitel) or similar.
• Deep understanding of telecom protocols, standards, and infrastructure.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Relevant certifications in telecom and VoIP technologies are a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with modern telecom infrastructure tools and technologies.
