About the Role
As a Project Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in supporting projects at Sizewell B, the UK’s first pressurized water reactor. Operational since 1995, Sizewell B has been a cornerstone of clean energy generation. Working closely with the Project Manager and Construction Manager, you’ll ensure projects are executed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.

While some flexible working arrangements may be available, this role will primarily be based at the Sizewell B site.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain engineering documentation, including quality plans and technical specifications.
Manage technical queries in alignment with established processes and procedures.
Assist with contractor selection, contract placement, and perform technical reviews of contractor submissions.
Conduct feasibility studies, site surveys, and collaborate with design and engineering teams.
Prepare and oversee Engineering Changes and associated documentation.
Act as Test Team Leader during commissioning, where applicable.
Support project management activities, ensuring all tasks are completed safely and effectively.
About You:
We’re looking for a skilled engineer with the following qualifications and experience:

Chartered Engineer status or HND (equivalent).
Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) qualification.
Familiarity with project management methodologies formal qualifications are an advantage.
Strong understanding of safety, environmental, and quality standards within regulated environments.
Experience in delivering construction projects under CDM regulations.
Ideally, experience in electrical power systems design and installation, such as national grid or distribution projects.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
