A fantastic opportunity has become available to join Scottish Water’s Development Services Team as a Support Administrator on a temporary basis for a period of around 3 – 6 months (this period could be extended), with mutual agreement.
This will be a full time work from home position with occasional visit required to the office.
Development Services provide a focused technical support and administrative service relative to the delivery of new water and wastewater infrastructure for both domestic and non -domestic customers.
The role holder will receive on the job training and support on a variety of tasks including, but not limited to;
• Call handling
• Validating applications
• Responding to internal and external customer queries (email, calls etc)
• Data entry
Within this role the successful applicant will develop skills and capabilities to process and program all applications for new connections ensuring completion within the required timeframe and responding to customer enquiries regarding the technical progress of the connection.
The role holder will play a co-ordinating role to ensure tasks are carried out to Scottish Water standards and in a timeous fashion, taking into account a quality service to Customers.
The role holder will contribute to the team objectives by sharing skills and knowledge, e.g. differing local and geographic practices and building relationships with both internal and external customers.
