What You’ll Be Doing:
You’ll be delivering complex engineering solutions across a range of nuclear projects - from concept through to commissioning. Whether it’s reviewing design substantiations, supporting refurbishment projects or solving wide-ranging technical queries, you’ll play a key role in maintaining the UK’s nuclear infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
Contribute to project teams across the lifecycle - from bids to commissioning
Deliver and review technical outputs (specifications, reports, calculations)
Take ownership of technical issues and lead stakeholder engagement
Collaborate in multi-disciplinary teams to deliver high-impact outcomes
Support plant life extension, upgrades and system improvements
Champion safety and compliance with all regulatory standards
About You:
We’re looking for proactive, technically strong individuals with a solid background in highly regulated industries such as nuclear, civil, or defence.
Essential:
Degree qualified (or equivalent experience via apprenticeship route)
Chartered or Incorporated Engineer status (or working towards)
Familiar with regulatory standards and compliance frameworks
Experience in design or design substantiation
Technical knowledge in pressure vessels, pipework (ASME), or similar
Systems analysis capabilities and a solution-oriented mindset
Desirable:
Experience in civil nuclear systems and design guidelines
Strong interpersonal skills - confident in building internal and external relationships
Innovative, collaborative, and always up for a challenge
