Senior Maintenance Technician

Morson are currently recruiting for a Senior Maintenance Technician based in Fareham for a temp to permanent position starting ASAP.

• Complete all Planned and Reactive Planned Preventative Maintenance tasks in compliance with the contract Service Level Agreement ensuring no failure or associated penalty. Implement and manage administration of all works via PDA ensuring real time job status maintained within SLA.
• Provide detailed reports for all work completed within the maintenance management system, either on handwritten or PDA unit.
• Carry out All works while presenting the corporate workwear and standards expected by Vinci while always presenting courteous and professional customer services.
• Flexible, highly motivated and driven with the ability to prioritise own workload, possess strong intellect, good logical fault-finding analysis capabilities.
• Possess excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills and be a confident team player.
• To be in attendance and undertaking your duties within the contract core operating work times –
• To be conversant and experienced enabling you to carry out your work in full compliance of the Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1974 and conform to all associated Vinci policies and procedures.
• Be conversant or suitably qualified to interpret the requirements of SFG 20 and ensure that all planned are reactive tasks conform as required to specification.
• Be conversant with L8/HSG 274 (The control of Legionella Bacteria in Water Systems) and the associated management of associated water systems in order that statutory compliance is maintained at all times.
• Be experienced and fully conversant with undertaking planned and reactive maintenance on the following general building services systems, including but not limited to – Electrical Generators, UPS, LV switching. Electrical distribution system from HV to DB Board and SO/SP. Packaged AC systems. VAV system. Constant Volume system. Fire Suppression and Alarm Detection Systems. Voice Systems. Grey water system, solar panel system, PV Panels, Commercial Biomass Boilers, Gas Boilers and Heat Beams. Primary LTHW system. Rad and associated distribution system. HWS and CWS systems and associated tanks. Support project development and continuous improvements objectives.
• Estimate/Quote/Manage and implement small works extra to the contract requirements, including small electrical/mechanical alterations for example, pipework alterations, fitting of sanitary pipework and sanitary ware, extending lighting and power circuits. Unblock toilets and clear blocked drains including storm and sewage, etc.
• Practice continuous improvement and pro-activeness for improved ways of working offering possible solutions to problems.
• IT proficient
• Proactive and dynamic approach to aspects of work.
• Be ambitious, driven and tenacious with a hunger to succeed and deliver results.
• Proactive and a positive can do attitude.
