About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team, specialising in recruitment within the manufacturing and industrial sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving business growth through client acquisition, account management and fostering strong relationships within the manufacturing industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic plans to identify and acquire new clients within the manufacturing sector.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and retention.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to understand client requirements and develop tailored recruitment solutions.
  • Conduct market research to identify industry trends, opportunities, and competitive landscapes.
  • Lead negotiations and contract discussions with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Drive revenue growth by achieving and exceeding sales targets and KPIs.
  • Stay abreast of industry developments, regulatory changes, and best practices to inform business strategies.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking functions to enhance brand visibility and reputation.
  • Provide regular reports and updates on business development activities, pipeline status, and revenue forecasts.
  • Mentor and support junior team members, providing guidance and assistance as needed.

Essential Skills:

  • Proven track record of success in business development, preferably within the recruitment or staffing industry.
  • Deep understanding of the manufacturing sector, including industry dynamics, key players and trends.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a strategic mindset.
  • Results-oriented with a focus on achieving and exceeding targets.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
