Store Person

Rail Stores Person required
Morson is a principal supplier to Transport for London for track resources, and we have teams working round the clock to help deliver our clients maintenance, upgrade and enhancement projects across the Capitals transport network.
We recognise that the way to success is by hiring great people, and we are now looking for a permanent Stores Person to join our hard-working and expanding Track Access and Protection department.
Working predominantly nights and based at our Canning Town Operations facility, your role will be to manage the storage, safekeeping and issue of PPE, plant and equipment and consumables used in fulfilling our safety critical Track Protection framework contract. You will help maintain accurate inventory records, optimize stock levels, and collaborate with various departments to ensure smooth delivery.
You will also be required to provide support to the Contract Delivery team, this could include general administration work, answering phones etc
Rail experience gained in either a London Underground or Network Rail environment is essential, and the ideal candidate will already have stores experience, but we will provide training for the right person.
For the role, we expect:

• Good levels of IT literacy, interpersonal and organisational skills
• The ability to work under own initiative
• A full UK driving licence

Salary £28kpa pa.
Working pattern - standard 40 hrs per week over 5 nights, Sun -Thurs.
Must be flexible to support weekend possessions

A background security check will be required prior to commencement and the role will start early August 2025.
