Join our team as a Software Engineer where you’ll be at the forefront of applying a comprehensive software engineering approach throughout the software development lifecycle. This role is crucial to our commitment to delivering innovative solutions within the maritime domain, leveraging your expertise in software development.

As a Software Engineer, you will spearhead or support software developments, utilizing your deep knowledge of software engineering principles and processes. Your responsibilities encompass critical problem-solving, ensuring quality in results and methods, and expanding knowledge across diverse domains. Your role includes collaborating within maritime combat systems, command and control systems, network design, autonomy/AI, and other relevant areas.

Lead or support software developments applying a comprehensive software engineering approach.
Engage in diverse domain areas within maritime systems, solving complex problems, and critically reviewing methods to ensure quality.
Utilize expertise in Java/JavaFX/Netbeans or C++/Visual Studio (*proficiency in one language is valued), Requirements management, UML/Enterprise Architect, Unit Testing, HMI design, Atlassian Toolset, and network protocols.

Degree or equivalent in software engineering or related discipline.
Proven ability to lead or support software developments, with knowledge of Software Engineering Lifecycle processes and tools.
Understanding of Open Systems Architectures, software safety standards, and familiarity with various domain areas within maritime systems.
Proficiency in Java/JavaFX/Netbeans or C++/Visual Studio, Requirements management, UML/Enterprise Architect, Unit Testing, and HMI design.
Desirable skills in Python, Fortran, Matlab, LabView, SQL, web development, usability testing, IT skills, Agile software development, and adherence to ISO 9001 and TickIT plus standards.
