Paint Prepper

Morson Talent are currently working closey with a key automotive supplier who are looking for a Paint Prepper who is an experienced in working with carbon fibre

  • Based in Witham Essex 
  • £20 per hour (LTD) with overtime available, up to 50 hours per week
  • Core Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm

Job Description:

We are seeking a Skilled Paint Prepper to join our team who will play a crucial role in preparing raw carbon fiber components for painting and finishing processes. Your responsibilities will include:

- Prepping raw carbon fiber surfaces for painting by sanding, cleaning, and smoothing imperfections.
- Masking and jigging parts to protect specific areas from paint or other finishing processes.
- Preparing clear primer coatings to ensure proper adhesion and finish for the lacquering of visual carbon fiber components.

Requirements:

- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in the automotive or manufacturing industry.
- Proficiency in various prep techniques such as sanding, masking, and priming.
- Attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work within tight deadlines.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to work flexible hours, including potential overtime.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
