Executive Assistant – FTC or Contract (Inside IR35)

Fully Remote | £70,000 FTCor £250/day (Inside IR35)

Overview

We are working with a high-growth, fast-paced industry leader seeking an exceptional Executive Assistantto support at board level. This is a unique opportunity for a confident, organised, and commercially astute EA to join an exciting environment where no two days are the same.

If you thrive under pressure, know how to manage upwards, and have a black belt in board-level support – this role is for you.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-level EA support to senior leadership, including diary and inbox management (with complex and ever-changing schedules).

  • Own the end-to-end process for board meetings – including preparing and formatting board packs, aligning presentations, taking accurate minutes, and circulating post-meeting documents promptly.

  • Serve as a trusted point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, often acting as a gatekeeper and first impression of the executive team.

  • Manage sensitive information with discretion and maintain strict confidentiality at all times.

  • Proactively anticipate the needs of the executive(s) and deliver solutions before problems arise.

  • Support on ad-hoc project administration, executive reporting and team coordination.


About You

  • Proven experience supporting at Executive or C-suite level, ideally in a fast-moving, complex organisation.

  • Confident working independently and remotely, with excellent judgement and a calm, solution-focused mindset.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong technical skills – especially in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel), Teams, and document formatting.

  • Meticulous attention to detail – especially when preparing materials for senior audiences.

  • Comfortable managing up, influencing, and holding stakeholders accountable where needed.

  • Available to start quickly (short notice period preferred).


Contract Options

  • Fixed-Term Contract – £70,000 per annum
    OR

  • Day Rate Contract – £250 per day (Inside IR35)
    Initial Term: 3–6 months
    Extension/Permanent Potential: High
