Job Title – Field Service Engineer
Location – Sandhurst
Role Type – Permanent

Morson are currently recruiting for an exciting opportunity as Field Service Engineer to join a leading supplier in Dosimetry and Radiation equipment. The role is based in Sandhurst and offering a competitive salary, plus car, pension, and career progression.
The Field Service Engineer has the responsibility of providing top-notch service to our customers across the UK. This entails servicing and installing dosimetry and radiation monitoring equipment nationwide. Additionally, they will need to assist with manufacturing and repairs at the facility during periods off-site.

Skills and experience:
• Previous Mechanical/Electronics experience
• Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings.
• Mechanical fitting skills
• Ability to read and understand electrical drawings.
• Electronic repair at component level.
• Good diagnostic skills and logical fault-finding ability.
• Prepared to travel and work independently.
• Full UK driving licence
• Prepared to undergo security clearance.

Key responsibilities include:
• Possess technical and interpersonal management skills in interactions with customers, subcontractors, internal Engineers, and during site installations.
• Demonstrate self-motivation and a proactive _can do_ attitude.
• Attend customer sites to conduct routine and preventative maintenance tasks.
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, diagnose issues, determine possible causes, and perform repairs based on diagnostics and assessments.
• Carry out equipment installation and commissioning at customer sites in the UK and Ireland.
• Remain flexible to support customers and attend sites on short notice and outside regular working hours as necessary.
• Maintain accurate records of mechanical modifications and document changes in change logs.
