Role: Group Project Development Manager

Sector: Onshore Wind, Solar PV, BESS Hydrogen

Location:

Ideally the candidate will be based in Berlin or Leipzig. However, there is flexibility to
consider candidates in other locations if they can travel to the office biweekly/monthly.

My client is an established German renewable energy developer/IPP with an international presence and over 1000 employees globally.

They currently have a 30GW pipeline globally and are looking for a Group Project Development Manager to lead their continued growth within Italy, UK, Spain and Portugal.

Role Responsibilities:

- Manage the development of all current projects, including strategic decision-making, preparation of risk committees and permitting for the forecasted portfolio
- Supervise all the wind and solar project developers in the process of prospecting, business development, and acquisition of new projects
- Responsible for providing advice and guidance on future countries from a legal/finance and risk perspective - helping to set up those country offices
- Identification and implementation of strategic measures
- Regular reporting to internal stakeholders
- Leading new country commercial due diligence and report directly to the board on future emerging markers vs risk profile

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

- Experience working for a multi-tech energy developer - ideally Onshore Wind, Solar PV or Battery Storage
- Experience managing multiple transactions (from opportunity evaluation, through due diligence, deal negotiation, execution, and final integration strategy)
