Site Quality Engineer

We are currently seeking a Site Quality Engineer to work for our client, a major construction company working on a prestigious scheme around the Huddersfield area.

You will ensure the consistent delivery of construction quality and conduct regular inspections and surveillance to ensure compliance with quality requirements. You will collaborate with the team to identify potential quality risks and implement preventative measures. As the Quality Engineer you will also offer support to junior members of the team, provide training on quality standards and monitor corrective measures.

Candidates will need

• Degree in engineering or a related field, or a formal construction quality qualification.
• Proven experience in quality assurance within construction or engineering projects.
• Strong understanding of quality management principles, tools, and methodologies.
• Proficiency in relevant quality software and tools.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Attention to detail and strong analytical abilities.
• Problem-solving mindset and a proactive approach to quality improvement.
• Proficient in communicating with key stakeholders.
• IRCA Lead Auditor qualified or in progress.
• Practitioner Chartered Quality Professional or in progress.
