Role: Finance Administrator
Location: Wilmslow
Salary: £30,000 - £32,000

Are you a detail-oriented finance professional who is looking for a new challenge within a supportive business? An exciting opportunity has opened up for a Finance Administrator to join a down to earth and growing business based in the heart of Wilmslow.

This role offers a wide scope of responsibilities across bookkeeping, credit control, client liaison, and general financial administration—ideal for someone looking to expand their skills and grow with a forward-thinking company.

What You’ll Be Doing:
• Finance & Credit Control
• Daily bookkeeping across multiple business entities
• Managing credit control procedures and maintaining strong client relationships
• Handling queries with suppliers and clients regarding purchase and sales invoices
• Collaborating with solicitors and debt recovery partners for overdue accounts
• Supporting sales invoicing processes and maintaining accurate financial records
• Assisting with client onboarding for finance facilities (e.g., direct debits, payment plans)
• Setting up new clients in financial systems
• Client Liaison & Administrative Support
• Providing excellent support to clients via phone and email
• Assisting with compliance documents, engagement packs, and secretarial tasks
• Coordinating with colleagues to issue invoices, statements, and reports
• General office admin: calls, post, emails, greeting visitors, and supporting directors
• Organising internal schedules, meetings, and maintaining internal filing systems

What We’re Looking For:
• Proven experience in Finance and credit control
• Confident using accounting software and Excel
• Excellent communication and organisation skills
• A proactive and professional attitude
• Ability to handle sensitive financial information with discretion
