I am currently partnering with an education organisation based in West Bromwich who are looking for a Senior Executive Assistant and Office Manager to join their team on a permanent basis.
Senior Executive Assistant and Office Manager
Location: Sandwell, West Bromwich – based on site.
Salary: Circa £40,000
Department: Senior Leadership Team
Reports to: Chief Executive & Principle
Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Job Purpose
To provide high-quality PA support to the Chief Executive & Principal and oversee the executive support services across the organisation. This role also involves the management of the Executive Assistant team and ensuring seamless administrative operations at the leadership level.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide efficient and proactive PA support to the Chief Executive & Principal.
- Manage all executive support services including meeting scheduling, preparation of papers and packs, stakeholder liaison, and event planning.
- Line manage and support the development of the Executive Assistant team; collaborate with other administrative functions across the organisation.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders on behalf of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT).
- Oversee meeting preparations including agendas, minutes, action tracking, and documentation distribution.
- Continuously improve systems and processes supporting executive services, including room bookings, stakeholder engagement, event logistics, hospitality, and office supplies.
- Lead the creation of high-quality presentations, reports, correspondence, and documentation as required by the SLT.
- Provide support and advocacy for SLT members as needed.
- Manage general office duties such as order raising and procurement of supplies.
- Co-ordinate college events in collaboration with the Marketing team, including awards ceremonies and high-profile visits.
- Promote and support a collaborative, ‘One Team’ culture across the organisation.
- Uphold organisational values, including those relating to safeguarding, health & safety, and equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI).
- Contribute to cross-organisational activities such as enrolment, open events, and business planning.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and in-service training.
- Maintain confidentiality at all times and ensure sensitive information is handled appropriately.
- Maintain and develop efficient digital and physical filing systems.
- Organise, prioritise, and delegate tasks to ensure the effective operation of the CEO’s office and proactively identify process improvements.
- Comply with the organisation’s risk management policies and escalate potential risks as needed.
